Welcome
BRS Technik
official sales and service partner for BRS rescue systems in Europe
The first and most trusted.
Ballistic Recovery Systems was founded in 1980 by Boris Popov of Saint Paul, Minnesota, after he survived a 400-foot (120 m) fall in a partially collapsed hang glider in 1975. As a result, Popov invented the WARPS, the Whole Aircraft Recovery Parachute System.
This system can lower an entire aircraft to the ground in the event of a loss of control, structural failure, or other in-flight emergency.
BRS is the only Whole Aircraft Recovery Parachute System certified as a retrofit for the Cessna 172s and Cessna 182s.

This is how BRS works

THE ROCKET FIRES OUT OF THE AIRCRAFT

THE CHUTE IS EXTRACTED FAR FROM THE AIRCRAFT

THE SPEED SENSING SLIDER REGULATES THE TIMELY DEPLOYMENT OF THE PARACHUTE

THE BRS GRADALLY LOWERS THE AIRCRAFT TO THE GROUND
